About me: We adopted Vinny from the LA Boxer Rescue, and we have become very big fans of Boxers ever since!
Vinny was fully trained when we got him, and has been an awesome addition to our family. He loves to play in water, to eat Circus Animal Cookies,
and to chase birds in the backyard. He is flashy fawn with natural ears, and is consistently complimented whenever he is out on the town.

Boxer #1: Mugsy
Age: 7
Favorite Toy: Tennis Balls
About me: No other pets in the house yet. I'm originally from New Jersey and I grew up with dogs all my life. When I was born my family had a white boxer named Brutis. While I don't actually remember him, (I was 3 when we moved to CA and we did not take the dog) the family stories show this was a great and very comical dog. When we moved to CA we owned cats and finally at age 7 we got another dog. My first dog was a 6 month old great dane mix. Babe was such a gentle giant. Then at age 9 we got Spike a fawn boxer. He was the runt of his litter, but the most protective and loving animal. Spike lived a long life.
When he was 11 we got Mugsy our current dog. He's a big 100 lb white boxer. We drove from Cypress, CA all the way to the Valley, Ventura (LA Boxer Rescue) to get him. We always kid he's a "A valley dog". Spike was a total drill sergeant with Mugsy and practically raised him to the dog he is today. He taught him to be protective and take care of me. I just can't say enough about this breed. They truly are one of a kind. We are hoping to give Mugsy a little sister next Spring or Summer by the latest. We'd like to get a brindle boxer, but my husband said if they have a white one in the litter it will be hard to turn her down. I hope you enjoy Mugsy's pictures. There some of our old boy Spike too.
